Glen Ives, chief growth officer and CEO of the Navy and Marine Corps division at Castellum, has assumed the additional role of president of government sales and operations at the Bethesda, Maryland-based defense technology company.
Castellum CEO Mark Fuller said in a statement published Monday Ives will have executive management responsibilities for all of the company’s acquired entities as he continues to oversee operations and drive growth initiatives.
He added that Ives has been key in Castellum’s acquisition efforts and organic growth since joining the company in February 2021.
Prior to Castellum, Ives was president and CEO of Sabre Systems. The former naval aviator and officer previously served as president of the Southern Maryland Navy Alliance and on the board of the Professional Services Council.
Castellum also announced the appointment of Craig Nixon, a retired U.S. Army brigadier general and an advisory board member at the company since March 2021, as a senior adviser to the CEO and Daniel Turissini as head of technology development and compliance.
Jim Enicks, CEO of Constellus’ Corvus Consulting subsidiary, stepped down from his role to pursue other opportunities.
