Maxim Watermakers manufactures reverse osmosis systems, waste treatment technology, evaporators, salinity monitoring equipment and cleaning solutions at its 50,000-square-foot facility in Shreveport, Louisiana, FMD said Tuesday.
FMD CEO George Whittier said Maxim’s portfolio of technologies makes it a strong addition to the company’s rapidly growing line of marine technologies.
The transaction is part of FMD’s effort to further grow defense technology offerings through a series of acquisitions. The Arcline Investment Management portfolio company recently acquired naval equipment replacement parts manufacturer Federal Equipment Company.
