Anduril Industries has won a $967.6 million contract to serve as an industry partner of U.S. Special Operations Command for a counter-unmanned system prototyping project.
The Irvine, California-based technology company will help SOCOM integrate systems under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, follow-on production contract, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
Twelve offerors bid for the Systems Integration Partner prototype project opportunity. SOCOM obligated $1.1 million in fiscal 2022 operations and maintenance funds at the time of award and expects Anduril to complete work by Jan. 19, 2023.
Founded in 2017, Anduril aims to fuse artificial intelligence with hardware intended for defense applications.
