The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command has issued an $800 million modification to a multiple-award contract with five companies that provide incidental construction and other global contingency services to the U.S. military.
KBR (NYSE: KBR), Vectrus (NYSE: VEC), IAP and ECC joint venture, Fluor (NYSE: FLR) and AECOM (NYSE: ACM) will share in the award that increases the cumulative value of an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract originally announced in September 2016 to $1.7 billion, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
Awardees support government facilities as part of disaster response, humanitarian assistance and military operations.
The original contract has one base period of performance along with seven option years.
