Matthew Bromberg, most recently president of the military engines business at Raytheon Technologies’ (NYSE: RTX) Pratt & Whitney subsidiary, has been appointed to serve as corporate vice president of global operations at Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC).
He will assume his new position on Feb. 16 and will oversee Northrop’s programs, quality, supply chain and technology functions, the company said Friday.
Bromberg will report directly to Kathy Warden, chairman, CEO and president of Northrop and a six-time Wash100 awardee.
“Matt has proven global leadership experience running complex businesses with large teams in the industrial, aerospace and defense industry,” said Warden.
Bromberg has led Pratt & Whitney’s military engines organization for more than four years and will be succeeded by Jill Albertelli as head of the unit.
The former Navy submarine officer started his industry career at Goldman Sachs as an investment banker.
