M1 Support Services will continue to perform aviation maintenance support at Fort Rucker in Alabama under a $522.6 million contract modification from the U.S. Army.
The Texas-based company will extend its services to the military post through Jan. 15, 2023, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command initially awarded M1 a potential 10-year, $387 million contract in September 2017 to support Fort Rucker’s entry-level and advanced aviation training missions.
The Army Field Directorate Office at Fort Eustis in Virginia is the contracting activity for the modification and the branch obligated the full amount with fiscal 2020 operation and maintenance funds.
