Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has received a one-year, $492.7 million contract modification to provide logistics support for F-35 aircraft systems that have been delivered to U.S. military and foreign military sales customers.
The award to Lockheed’s aeronautics segment covers work to operate and maintain an automatic logistics information system, address action requests and facilitate training of fighter aircraft pilots and maintainers, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
DOD added that the company will conduct ground maintenance, depot and training equipment sustainment efforts as part of the modification.
Naval Air Systems Command will obligate the full contract amount from U.S. Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps operation and maintenance funds for fiscal 2022, as well as from non-DOD participant and FMS funds.
