Stephen Benedict, head of product management for personalization at Amazon (Nasdaq: AMZN), has joined digital identity verification company ID.me as chief product officer.
In his previous role, Benedict led the creation, rollout and modernization of global e-commerce experiences for the Amazon client base using artificial intelligence and machine learning, ID.me said Thursday.
He assumed his new position after ID.me expanded its online network to support more than 66 million participants and launched an in-person service for public sector customers in collaboration with background screening company Sterling Check Corp.
âHis deep knowledge of AI and ML, along with his focus on personalizing technology, aligns precisely with our vision to empower consumers to control their own data and gain frictionless access to things they want,â said Blake Hall, founder and CEO of ID.me.
