Chad Sweet, former chief of staff at the Department of Homeland Security and co-founder of advisory firm The Chertoff Group, has been appointed to the board of directors of Bethesda, Maryland-based digital services provider DMI.
DMI said Monday Sweet also serves as CEO of Chertoff, a member of DHS’ Homeland Security Advisory Council and an adviser to the National Cyber Moonshot Project.
Previously, he worked at Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS) and Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MS) as an investment banker after his tenure as the CIA’s clandestine service official.
“He brings decades of experience in cybersecurity and an extensive background in both government and commercial industries that will help accelerate our growth in these key market segments,” said Jay Sunny Bajaj, founder and CEO of DMI.
