SkyePoint to Help Secure ICE Network With AI Tech; Frank Sturek Quoted

SkyePoint Decisions has received a task order to help the Immigration and Customs Enforcement implement an artificial intelligence-based cybersecurity platform to support the agency’s network threat monitoring and defense measures.

The company said Wednesday it will work with TIBCO Software to deploy the Spotfire analytics platform to ICE’s security operations center through a proof-of-concept effort.

Frank Sturek, president of SkyePoint Decisions, said the company will apply AI and machine learning to bring a detection and response system called Threat Predict to the agency.

The task order was awarded under the small business portion of the Chief Information Officers – Solutions and Partners 3 contract vehicle, or CIO-SP3, and work is scheduled to occur over a six-month period through March 2022.
