Security 1 Solutions to Help Secure Pentagon Assets Under $119M Contract

Security 1 Solutions has received a five-year, $119.3 million contract to help the Pentagon Force Protection Agency secure Department of Defense assets and operations within the National Capital Region.

The Gaithersburg, Maryland-based company will deploy security personnel to the Pentagon and Mark Center buildings under the firm-fixed, labor hours contract from Washington Headquarters Services, DOD said Friday.

Contractor responsibilities will include support for force protection and counterterrorism programs and detection of chemical biological, radiological and nuclear threats.

DOD will obligate $5 million at the time of award and expects work to conclude by Nov. 4, 2026.

Headquartered in 2012, Security 1 Solutions offers mission support and professional services to the government and corporate sectors.
