Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) and Serco’s U.S. subsidiary have secured separate contracts to provide engineering support, test, product development and ship and systems integration services for the U.S. Navy’s Program Executive Office, Integrated Warfare Systems.
SAIC will deliver services to PEO IWS 1.0 and 9.0 under a potential $22.7 million contract and will perform work at naval facilities in Washington, D.C., Spain and Japan through June 10, 2022, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
The service will obligate $6.2 million in operation and maintenance, research, development, test and evaluation and weapons procurement funds for fiscal year 2022 at the time of award.
DOD said Serco Inc. will support PEO IWS 3.0 focused on surface ship weapons through a potential $15.6 million contract. Work will occur in Arlington, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., through May 7, 2023, and the Navy will obligate $210,991 in FY 2022 procurement funds.
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division in Indiana is the contracting activity on both contracts.
