The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has asked vendors to submit information about space weather data offerings as the agency looks to expand its information-gathering platforms.
NOAA said Wednesday it will use input from the commercial sector to plan future pilot studies and acquisition programs.
The agency is interested in learning about products and services that could be available in the 2022-2028 timeframe to support the government’s weather forecasting efforts.
Responses to the request for information notice are due Dec. 8.
On Jan. 19, Executive Mosaic’s GovCon Wire will host an event to offer the GovCon community an insight into federal acquisition reform and modernization efforts in the space domain. Click here to learn more about the “Space Acquisition Forum.”
