https://govconwire.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/nasa-eyes-additional-crowdsourcing.mp3 NASA is looking to enlist additional companies to crowdsource ideas and approaches to advance the agency mission through an on-ramp process for the second iteration of the Open Innovation Services contract vehicle.
A solicitation notice posted on SAM.gov says the space agency will accept new proposals for the potential $175 million NOIS2 program until Dec. 8.
Ten companies won positions on the first iteration of the contract in June 2015 and 19 awardees were named on the follow-on vehicle in July 2020.
The agency said it seeks to expand its access to prize competitions, challenges, freelance projects and other crowd-based methods.
