The company said Wednesday its GDIT business will provide USPTO a hybrid computing platform intended to give agency users access to multiple cloud services from Amazon Web Services, Google and Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT).
GDIT will also support the agency’s leadership team in cloud strategy implementation efforts as part of the five-year contract.
“The delivery of these cloud services will directly support inventors, entrepreneurs and organizations by making it faster and easier to file trademark and patent applications,” said Jylinda Johnson, vice president and general manager of government operations at GDIT.
