Doug Cossa, chief information officer of the Defense Intelligence Agency, will keynote a Nov. 17 virtual forum to be hosted by Executive Mosaic’s flagship Government Contracting Wire (GovCon Wire) to discuss the DIA’s current information technology environment and the role of industry in efforts to transform the agency’s IT infrastructure.
Cossa assumed his current position in July after three years as deputy CIO at the federal government’s primary agency for providing intelligence data to policymakers, force planners and warfighters. He previously spent more than eight years in the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and also worked at GovCon companies Science Applications International Corp. and Booz Allen Hamilton earlier in his career.
Join the “Defense and Intelligence: IT Modernization” forum to hear from Cossa and other government leaders as they share insights on how technology and data are enabling agency missions.
Cossa’s keynote address will be followed by a panel discussion among government and industry leaders. Lew Messing, vice president of programs at Science Applications International Corp.’s national intelligence business, will serve as moderator.
Other executives invited to serve as panelists include:
- Ian Fowlie, chief of enterprise information technology engineering at DIA
- Craig Kaucher, assistant program executive officer for cyber and operations at the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency
- James Long, director of GEOINT services at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency
- Vernon Saunders, senior vice president of national intelligence at SAIC
