KBR (NYSE: KBR) has closed its $400 million purchase of Frazer-Nash Consultancy, a systems engineering and technology services provider formerly owned by Babcock International Group.
Frazer-Nash Consultancy employs a team of professional advisory professionals who primarily assist clients across the U.K. and Australian defense, energy and critical infrastructure sectors, KBR said Thursday.
The acquired business also provides support to customers in the cyber, data science and energy areas.
Houston-based KBR first announced the cash transaction in August as part of the company’s global advisory market expansion strategy.
“Frazer-Nash adapted ahead of the curve to evolve with changing market dynamics, while delivering consistent profitable growth,” said Stuart Bradie, president and CEO at KBR.
