Jim Brinker, president and general manager of Intel Federal, was recently presented his 2021 Wash100 Award, the most coveted award in government contracting (GovCon), by Executive Mosaic CEO Jim Garrettson on Wednesday.
“Jim Brinker is leading the federal business for Intel as general manager and giving new meaning to the phrase ‘Intel inside’ with his aggressive expansion of Intel into the most strategically important programs for 5G, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, high-performance computing and advanced microelectronics manufacturing,” said Garrettson.
Executive Mosaic first recognized Jim Brinker’s contributions to the GovCon sector as a 2020 Wash100 winner for his leadership and driving for the expansion of Intel Federal’s information technology, cyber, 5G and artificial intelligence technology as well as company growth.
For his latest 2021 Wash100 Award win, Executive Mosaic has recognized Brinker for his continued leadership in the Federal space and his thought leadership around U.S.-based microelectronics. Supply chain assurance and security has been a major topic since the pandemic. Intel, as the only U.S.-based company manufacturing State of the Art chips has been working closely with the DOD and the US government to ensure access to the latest technologies.
“We’re really trying to take the available commercial technologies within the federal sector and apply them to many of the programs that are supporting today’s capabilities and the programs that will continue to advance the federal missions in the future,” said Brinker.
Executive Mosaic congratulates Intel Federal and Jim Brinker for his 2021 Wash100 Award. His leadership and vision to advance capabilities within the federal sector and for the federal government demonstrates the level of success and excellence that has become synonymous with the Wash100 Award.
