Caliburn Rebrands as Acuity International; Bob Stalick, Thomas Campbell Quoted

Caliburn International has rebranded as Acuity International to reflect the company’s evolving focus on technology-based services for its global government and commercial enterprise customers.

The rebrand follows Caliburn’s April 2021 announcement that it would split into two new companies, Acuity International and Valiance Humanitarian, following the completion of a strategic review conducted by the company’s board of directors, senior management and advisers.

Bob Stalick, Acuity International’s CEO, said a component of the company’s rebranding strategy includes key additions to the executive leadership team, which will position Acuity International to enhance its offerings in large-scale efforts.

“We will continue to arm our team with the tools and technology they need to push the envelope and provide solutions to some of the toughest operations on earth,” Stalick added.

Additionally, Thomas J. Campbell, chairman of Acuity International’s board of directors, said the rebrand signals the beginning of new investments and future expansion.

“With this new brand, Acuity International will emphasize expertise in engineering and technology and be positioned to grow by investing in complementary capabilities, particularly those with a technology focus such as cybersecurity, cloud applications and artificial intelligence,” Campbell explained.

As part of the rebrand, Acuity International has established three new business practices which focus on technology, healthcare and global missions.

Acuity International’s Advanced Technology Solutions business will leverage cloud-based tools to provide analysis and oversight of operations such as laboratory facility management, construction management and bio-containment resources across a variety of industries.

The new entity’s Advanced Medical Solutions practice is comprised of an experienced medical and technical team that will lead the group in fulfilling direct humanitarian, healthcare and medical management needs to organizations which maintain strict workforce health standards.

Lastly, the company’s new Global Mission Solutions group will focus on providing support for complex mission requirements such as base operations, integrated logistics and security across a diverse set of global operations.
