CAE USA (NYSE: CAE) has received a potential $37 million contract to develop a system for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency to access, process and distribute three-dimensional geospatial information.
The company said it will lead the development and integration of a prototype for the Training and Readiness Accelerator-managed Beyond 3D effort with the goal to help NGA personnel analyze data in real time.
“Digital technologies, big data architectures, machine learning and artificial intelligence are all coming together to transform how agencies like NGA can support planning, preparation and operations,” said Dan Gelston, president of CAE’s defense and security group.
Gelston added that the project is an example of how the company will apply simulation and modeling experience to support multidomain missions.
Army Contracting Command-Orlando issued the contract.
