Khalid Syed, a senior vice president at Booz Allen Hamilton, will lead an Oct. 27 panel discussion about partnerships between the Department of Defense and the domestic industry to create a robust and resilient network for tactical users.
Syed oversees Booz Allen’s command, control, communications, computers, cyber, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance and integrated air defense offerings in the aerospace domain.
He is scheduled to moderate the “Winning With the Network: Securing Data in Motion to the Tactical Edge” forum for the Potomac Officers Club, which will feature leaders from the U.S. Army and Air Force to offer insights on DOD’s concept to interconnect military weapons systems and incorporate emerging technologies to transform the idea into a reality.
Maj. Gen. Michael Schmidt, program executive officer for C3I and networks at the U.S. Air Force; and Brig. Gen. Jeth Rey, director of the Army’s Network Cross-Functional Team have been invited to speak at the event.
