An Amyx-Alpha Omega Integration joint venture has secured a $98 million contract to help the Securities and Exchange Commission manage electronic data on security law violations.
The 3A LLC JV will support information processing work for the agency’s securities inspection, examination and legal proceeding activities under the Electronic Discovery Support of Litigation contract, Amyx said Monday.
“This is an important award for our team as it continues our work with the SEC in promoting a market environment that is worthy of the public’s trust,” said William Schaefer, president and CEO of Amyx.
Schaefer added that the partnership looks to expand its support across the SEC’s enforcement and exam divisions and subsidiary offices through the EDSL program.
Gautam Ijoor, president and CEO of Alpha Omega Integration, noted that the contract presents the company an opportunity to help the commission in investor and market protection efforts.
The two companies formed 3A under the Small Business Administration’s mentor-protege program.
