Former Department of Defense officials Jack Gumtow, Scott Howell and Patricia Stokes have joined the board of advisers of artificial intelligence software provider Babel Street.
They will advise the leadership team on approaches to help customers implement the company’s analytics software platform, Babel Street said Wednesday.
Gumtow, a three-decade DOD and intelligence community veteran, formerly served as chief information officer at the Defense Intelligence Agency.
Howell is a retired Air Force lieutenant general and previously led the Joint Special Operations Command. He oversaw initiatives with various military organizations during his time as U.S. Special Operations Command’s vice commander.
Stokes was a Senior Executive Service member who served as director of the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency’s vetting directorate. She helped DCSA take over the oversight responsibility for executive branch background investigation functions from the National Background Investigations Bureau.
