SAP Concur to Modernize DOD Travel Management Platform Under $374M Award

SAP Concur has received a sole-source contract worth potentially $374.35 million from the Defense Human Resources Activity to produce and deploy a travel-as-a-service platform for the Department of Defense.

The company will build the web-based MyTravel system with a subscription pricing model for DOD personnel to book trips and manage travel-related transactions, according to an award notice posted Wednesday on SAM.gov.

DHRA said the company will integrate the application with the department’s financial management platforms as part of the Defense Travel Modernization program.

The agency expects to transition 2,000 users and 1,000 travel transactions to the new platform during fiscal year 2021 and process 3.8 million in annual transactions via the system by fiscal year 2025.

The six-year contract is a follow-on award to SAP Concur’s prototype other transaction agreement with Army Contracting Command.
