CliniComp will continue to provide a clinical information system to Department of Veterans Affairs-operated medical centers throughout the U.S. over a five-year period after the Veterans Health Administration renewed its contract with the company.
San Diego-based CliniComp said Friday its technology platform will help clinicians at 43 VA hospitals manage data associated with critical, medical-surgical, emergency and procedural care services.
Sandra Johnson, senior vice president of client services at CliniComp, noted that the company has helped the department implement a clinical surveillance platform to manage COVID-19 cases, critical care coordination and supplies.
The company also provides support services to the Defense Health Agency during the phased rollout of the MHS Genesis electronic health records system under a $429 million contract awarded in April 2020.
