Cameron Chehreh, chief technology officer and vice president of engineering at Dell Technologies, will lead a panel discussion on the role of artificial intelligence in homeland security during GovCon Wire’s Oct. 7 virtual event.
Chehreh was named first CTO for the Dell Federal business in September 2015 to help the technology company bring mission-focused offerings to the government market.
He previously held the same role at General Dynamics Information Technology‘s commercial cyber services and intelligence solutions businesses and at OAO Technology Solutions. His career also includes time as enterprise solutions architect for Northrop Grumman‘s IT business, account manager for the Maxim Group and a helpdesk analyst for TEKsystems, an Aerotek company.
The 24-year IT industry veteran will act as the moderator for an expert panel slated to discuss how AI technology can help the federal government to protect the nation from various security threats.
Panelists include Robert Brown, CTO of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services; and Anil Chaudhry, director of federal AI implementations at the General Services Administration.
