Axonius has established a new subsidiary that will focus on delivering the needs of U.S. federal agencies looking to meet the requirements of the Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation program and other government initiatives centered on strengthening national cybersecurity.
Axonius Federal Systems will offer agencies foundational asset management capabilities designed to help customers in their compliance with CDM, Federal Information Security Management Act and National Institute of Standards and Technology cybersecurity framework, among other cybersecurity regulations and guidelines, the parent company said Tuesday.
The new government-focused subsidiary will have an advisory board consisting of:
- Essye Miller, CEO, Executive Business Management; former chief information security officer and principal deputy chief information officer, Department of Defense
- Greg Oslan, managing partner, OSG Consulting; former strategic adviser to CIO, Department of Homeland Security
- Ray Johnson, operating partner, Bessemer Venture Partners; former chief technology officer, Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT); two-time Wash100 awardee
- Renee Wynn, CEO, RP Wynn Consulting; former CIO, NASA and Environmental Protection Agency
“We’ve seen tremendous demand from the U.S. federal government — both civilian and DOD agencies. Creation of a government-focused subsidiary allows us to scale our support to meet the specific needs of these customers,” said Robert McLernon, general manager of Axonius Federal Systems.
