The U.S. Air Force’s life cycle management arm has released a request for proposals for a multiple award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for communications and enterprise information technology support services for the National Air and Space Intelligence Center.
The follow on contract will provide for work performed at the task level, including Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services support, IT system support, software management and multinational information sharing support.
Tasks orders under COMET are intended to help NASIC provide the Department of Defense with predictive multidomain intelligence to support force modernization efforts, military missions and national policymaking.
Other support services covered by the IDIQ are infrastructure as a service, platform as a service, records management, compliance support and cloud offerings.
The Air Force anticipates a five-year ordering period and one option of five extension years for COMET, which will have approximately four contractors. Awards will be made once funds become available for the effort.
Offerors should have Top Secret Facility Clearance and Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information cleared personnel. Interested parties have until Oct. 28 to submit proposals.
