Naval Air Systems Command has awarded Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) a $97.7 million contract modification to develop a runtime server for the F-35 pilot training system.
The Department of Defense said Monday that the company’s aeronautics segment will provide the hardware to the U.S. Navy, Air Force and non-DOD participants.
NAVAIR will obligate $12.8 million at the time of award, including $10.5 million from USAF’s and Navy’s fiscal 2021 research, development, test and evaluation funds.
Lockheed Martin Aeronautics will provide recurring F-35 logistics services to domestic and foreign military customers of the Joint Strike Fighter air system under a separate $1.80 billion contract awarded in late June.
