IT Company InterImage Names 5 Industry, Government Execs to New Advisory Board

Arlington, Virginia-based InterImage has established a five-person advisory board that will provide the woman-owned small business with guidance as it works to deliver information technology offerings to federal government customers.

Leslie Steele, CEO of InterImage, said in a statement published Friday the creation of the board of advisers, along with the recent acquisition of national security service provider Amches, is meant to help expand the company’s intelligence community footprint.

The advisory board members are:

  • Robert Ames, senior director of emerging technology at VMware (NYSE: VMW) and former senior vice president at In-Q-Tel
  • Marie Dunham, principal at M Dunham Consulting Services and former executive at the National Security Agency
  • Kevin Ford, former deputy director of technology for NSA
  • Paul Gentile, executive consultant at Panther and former SVP at several government contractors
  • Jack Gumtow, former chief information officer of the Defense Intelligence Agency
