Jerry Black, program manager for Criterion Systems’ U.S. Department of Agriculture Information Technology Support Services contract, has been elevated to a vice president role at the Vienna, Virginia-based IT contractor.
Black has three decades of IT experience and has played a role in federal civilian market expansion efforts, primarily within USDA, since he joined the company four years ago, Criterion said Monday.
He previously served as assistant director in the U.S. Forest Service Chief Information Office and acting associate CIO for client technology services at USDA, where he led a 1,000-employee department focused on the provision of IT products and services to the department.
