An Amentum-led joint venture with Fluor (NYSE: FLR) and Atkins has received a $1 billion task order under a master indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the environmental cleanup of a large nuclear site at the Department of Energy’s Hanford site in Washington state.
The task order under DOE’s contract with Central Plateau Cleanup Company is slated to take effect Oct. 1, according to an award notice posted Monday on SAM.gov.
Work covers end states and base operations as part of the potential 10-year, $10 billion Hanford CPCC contract awarded in December 2019.
The Amentum-led team received a notice to proceed on the recompete contract Oct. 5, 2020.
