Suzette Kent, former federal chief information officer and two-time Wash100 Award recipient, has joined the public sector advisory board of cloud data management software provider Rubrik.
“Suzette’s background and reputation in the marketplace were key reasons to add her voice to Rubrik’s federal strategy,” Tom Kennedy, vice president of Rubrik’s public sector business, said in a statement.
Kent noted that the company works to help organizations manage data and security posture.
“Rubrik’s disruptive technology makes it a leading company to assist agencies with their digital transformation helping them meet modernization mandates,” she added.
During her service as federal CIO from February 2018 to July 2020, Kent drove the first-ever governmentwide data strategy and the pace of government information technology innovation.
Palo Alto, California-based Rubrik offers a technology platform designed to support data recovery, governance, compliance and cloud mobility functions.
