Palantir, HHS Renew Software Contract for Government Vaccination Initiative

Palantir Technologies (NYSE: PLTR) has secured a one-year contract renewal from the Department of Health and Human Services to support data management software used to monitor the government’s COVID-19 vaccine distribution and administration activities nationwide.

HHS enlisted the help of Palantir in mid-2020 to develop and implement the Tiberius platform for public health organizations to manage vaccination services at the federal, state and local levels, the company said Monday.

Under the extended contract, the Denver-based software provider will partner with the HHS Office of the Chief Information Officer as government officials track vaccine supplies and distribute U.S.-donated vaccines to other countries.

The company added that it has supported more than 100 organizations, which include U.S. government and military agencies, in pandemic response efforts across the globe using its technology.
