The U.S. Navy has issued a draft solicitation for a potential eight-year, $600 million contract to provide program management and logistics services in support of the acquisition and sustainment of weapons platforms, subsystems, system of systems and support equipment.
The Product Support Management/Integration multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract will be a total set-aside program for small businesses and will have a five-year base term and one three-year option, according to a presolicitation notice posted Monday.
The PSMI IDIQ contract will primarily support Naval Air Systems Command program offices, Echelon III/IV commands and NAVAIR Sustainment Group departments when it comes to the procurement, sustainment and delivery of naval aviation weapons systems and related products, including air vehicles, propulsion systems, commodities and capabilities and training systems.
Questions related to the draft request for proposals are due Aug. 3.
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division anticipates the release of the final solicitation in August.
