Jim Cushman, a technology industry veteran, has joined mobile enterprise security company Hypori as president of commercial markets and chief product officer.
He will oversee the company’s strategic growth initiatives and expansion into health care, fintech and other commercial markets and is expected to use his three decades of product development and entrepreneurial experience as he leads product strategy, engineering, management and operations in his new roles, Hypori said Tuesday.
Hypori CEO Jared Shepard said Cushman’s experience with software companies and capability to shape product roadmap and vision will help the company advance its growth initiatives in federal and commercial markets.
Prior to Hypori, Cushman was chief product officer at Collibra. He previously served as senior vice president and general manager at Veeva Systems and president of commercial and products at Novetta Solutions.
He serves as a strategic adviser to several software startups, holds technology patents and speaks at national tech conferences.
Austin, Texas-based Hypori is a service-disabled veteran-owned small business that provides virtual mobility platforms meant to help federal agencies and enterprises protect data and applications on BYOD edge devices.
