Braxton Technologies, now part of Parsons (NYSE: PSN), has secured a $139.4 million contract modification from the U.S. Space Force to continue ground-based satellite systems support at the Space and Missiles Systems Center.
The company is helping the service branch prototype, integrate and manage network, infrastructure, architecture and hardware systems, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
DOD noted that the contract has a total cumulative value of $233.9 million.
A Braxton-led industry team won a $100M contract in June 2019 to build SMC’s Enterprise Ground Services platform, a federated suite of services to enable interoperability of tactical command-and-control functions.
SMC is obligating $5.7 million at the time of award and expects work under the modification to conclude by May 16, 2024.
Parsons completed its $300 million acquisition of Braxton in November 2020 to grow its presence in the defense and intelligence markets.
