Patrick Markus, a more than two-decade government contracting industry veteran, has been appointed general manager of BlueHalo’s cyber and intelligence business sector.
In his new capacity, Markus will lead strategic efforts intended to drive the sector’s growth, BlueHalo said Thursday.
He previously served as a vice president at Dovel Technologies and a program director at LGS Innovations. His longest stint was at Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC), where he spent 17 years in various roles such as the long-term positioning campaign lead whose responsibility encompassed technical efforts across the cyber, radio frequency, signals intelligence, electronic warfare and intelligence areas.
“We are thrilled to have Patrick round out the BlueHalo executive leadership team. His technical expertise combined with mission understanding will enable the team to continue to add value to the nation’s hardest problems,” said Katie Selbe, chief operating officer of BlueHalo.
