Executive Mosaic CEO Jim Garrettson presented John Mengucci, president and CEO of CACI International, with his second consecutive Wash100 Award, the most prestigious and coveted award in all of government contracting (GovCon), during a recent visit to CACI headquarters.
Mengucci received his 2021 Wash100 Award for driving company growth through significant contract award wins and advancing CACI customers’ tech capabilities in the federal landscape.
Previously, Mengucci received his first Wash100 Award in 2020 for growing the company’s revenue through valuable contract awards and tactful acquisitions, which continued to advance the company’s influence in the sector.
Throughout 2020, Mengucci’s leadership and growth strategy led to significant contracts and expansion, including a potential 10-year, $1.5 billion contract in June 2020 to provide information technology assistance to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and its partners as part of efforts to fortify NGA’s cybersecurity posture.
Mengucci told employees, shareholders and customers in April 2020 as the whole world began to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic that the company intended to remain “ever vigilant” amid changing global business dynamics and ensure the health and safety of its workforce.
Executive Mosaic congratulates John Mengucci on his second consecutive Wash100 Award. His focus, vision and leadership are heavy influences over CACI’s market growth and portfolio expansion as well as drivers of excellence for the GovCon sector that makes him one of the most influential members of the GovCon community for the rest of 2021 and beyond.
Executive Mosaic recently announced that Dr. Stacey Dixon, deputy director of the NGA, had received the most votes from the GovCon community in the eight-year history of the Wash100 Award. Here are the final results of the 2021 Wash100 Vote Standings:
