General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) NASSCO subsidiary has won a potential $121.1 million contract to help the U.S. Navy update, repair and maintain systems of USS Pinckney guided missile destroyer.
Naval Sea Systems Command received three offers for the DDG 91 vessel’s fiscal 2022 depot modernization effort through a full and open competition, the Department of Defense said Friday.
The Navy will obligate $98.7 million at the time of award from the branch’s FY 2021 other procurement and operation and maintenance funds, with $5.2 million of the obligations expiring at the end of the current fiscal year.
Work under the firm-fixed-price contract will take place in San Diego, through July 2023.
