Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific has awarded Dell Marketing and Insight Public Sector six-month contracts worth $317 million combined under a blanket purchase agreement to help the Department of the Navy obtain software licenses.
The two awards are part of the Department of Defense Enterprise Software Initiative and will give DON components access to Microsoft Azure and Office 365 products, the Pentagon said Monday.
Ceiling values of Dell Marketing’s and Insight Public Sector’s contracts are $155.3 million and $161.5 million, respectively.
The Navy will use operation and maintenance funds for delivery orders on the short-term, single-award, firm-fixed-price agreement with the two suppliers.
The DOD ESI serves as a means for military and intelligence agencies to procure commercial software, information technology hardware and support services.
