Several Department of Defense officials participated in a two-day virtual conference, hosted by McAleese & Associates, to discuss topics such as acquisition, budget and military modernization.
Speakers included House Armed Services Committee Adam Smith, D-Wash.; Gen. John Hyten, vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff; Stacy Cummings, acting undersecretary for acquisition and sustainment at DOD; James McConville, chief of staff of the U.S. Army; Gen. Charles Brown, chief of staff of the U.S. Air Force; Gen. Jay Raymond, chief of space operations at the U.S. Space Force; James “Hondo” Geurts, acting undersecretary of the U.S. Navy; and Derek Tournear, director of the Space Development Agency.
