Executive Mosaic CEO Jim Garrettson Presents Fourth Consecutive Wash100 Award to AWS Federal VP Dave Levy

During a recent visit to Amazon Web Services, Executive Mosaic CEO Jim Garrettson presented Dave Levy, vice president of Amazon Web Services‘ (AWS) federal business, with his 2021 Wash100 Award for continuing focus on cloud efforts, cyber and driving the development of emerging technology capabilities across the federal sector.

“Dave Levy is well known for his problem-solving approach to bring solutions to his customers and his AWS team,” said Garrettson. “After 12 years as the head of Apple Government Sales, Dave has the ability to bring the elegance of world-class design to what he does at Amazon.”

This marks the fourth consecutive time, in the eight-year history of the Wash100 Award, that Levy has received the most prestigious award in all of government contracting (GovCon).

Previously, he was recognized for his contributions to our community for his leadership in customer relations, cloud-related efforts and information technology modernization in support of AWS’ government clients.

The four-time Wash100 has been with AWS since May 2017. Prior to joining the company, he spent more than 12 years serving as head of U.S. government sales at Apple where he led a team responsible for assisting the government in its adoption of mobile technologies.

Executive Mosaic congratulates AWS and Dave Levy for his 2021 Wash100 Award. His vision, leadership and drive to expand the company and its presence in the government contracting sector has cemented him as an executive who could be a significant influence in 2021.

Executive Mosaic recently announced that Dr. Stacey Dixon, deputy director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), had received the most votes from the GovCon community in the eight-year history of the Wash100 Award.
