Woolpert has promoted Doug Brown, a vice president, and Joseph Bissaillon, a senior associate and senior project manager, to new leadership roles within its federal market segment.
Brown, who became federal design practice leader at Woolpert in August 2020, will succeed David Ziegman, a senior VP, as federal market director, the company said Friday.
Brown is a Project Management Professional who served in the U.S. Air Force as a civil engineer. He has advanced certification in LEED AP Building Design + Construction.
Ziegman, a more than three-decade Woolpert veteran who will transition to a program director role, said Brown is the man for the job given his nearly 18-year experience serving federal and military clients.
Bissaillon will become federal design practice leader, taking over the role previously held by Brown. He is a Project Management Professional, Green Globes Professional and a registered architect with certification in LEED AP Building Design + Construction.
Woolpert also announced the move of project manager John Martin from landscape architecture to the federal market segment and the hiring of Morgan Grohol as a project manager.
Brown said the appointments will help Woolpert strengthen its foundation with the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy and expand work with the U.S. Coast Guard and other agencies.
