The U.S. Army has selected EnviroSafe Demil, Expal USA and General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) ordnance and tactical systems business to demilitarize and dispose of conventional ammunition under a five-year, $110.1 million contract.
The three contractors will compete for task orders under the multiple-award, firm-fixed-price contract, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
The Army launched an online competitive solicitation for the contract and gathered eight proposals. The service branch will assign performance locations and funds per order and the contractors will work to complete duties by May 20, 2026.
Army Contracting Command, which operates from the Illinois-based Rock Island Arsenal, served as the contracting activity.
