Redhorse President John Zangardi Named to Forcepoint Board

John Zangardi, president of technology services contractor Redhorse, has joined the board of directors of cybersecurity company Forcepoint.

He brings to the board more than three decades of experience as an information technology leader in the government and private sector, Forcepoint said Thursday.

Forcepoint’s converged security solutions to the national security and federal customer is critical differentiator to mission accomplishment,” Zangardi told GovCon Wire in a statement.

Prior to Redhorse, Zangardi previously worked at Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) as senior vice president of business initiatives and strategic partnerships for the company’s civil group.

His government career included time as chief information officer at the Department of Homeland Security, acting CIO at the Department of Defense and deputy assistant secretary of the Navy for command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, information operations and space. He also served in the U.S. Navy and retired as a naval flight officer.

In February, Zangardi was named to the advisory board of cybersecurity software company LookingGlass Cyber Solutions.
