Mary Jackson, a retired U.S. Navy vice admiral, and senior investment professional Delara Zarrabi have been named to PAE’s board of directors.
Marshall Heinberg, board chairman at PAE, said in a statement published Monday the appointments bring a range of skills to the board and mark the company’s commitment to advancing diversity at the board level.
Jackson retired in July 2020 after a more than 30-year naval career, which included time as commander of Navy Installations Command, head of Navy Region Southeast and as adviser to the secretary of the Navy and chief of naval operations on strategy related to shore resiliency, diversity and inclusion and infrastructure. She currently serves as a principal of Desert Rose Navigator.
Heinberg said Jackson’s service in the Navy will bring her deep customer experience to PAE as the company continues to carry out its expansion strategy with a focus on high-margin contracts.
Zarrabi is a managing director at Platinum Equity. She previously served as a principal at private equity firm Paine & Partners and as an investment banking analyst at Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce’s CIBC World Markets subsidiary.
“Delara’s corporate finance and M&A experience will enhance the Board’s ability to evaluate future strategic, accretive acquisitions,” Heinberg said.
