Mancon has won a potential $146 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to support mobile store operations of Naval Supply Systems Command’s Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk in Virginia.
The company will help NAVSUP FLC obtain supplies, equipment and parts for the Super Servmart project, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
Super Servmart uses a 50,000-square-foot facility located at Norfolk Naval Station. According to NAVSUP, Mancon and and Virginia Industries for the Blind support project management, e-commerce and retail store operations for the project.
The contract has an initial value of $132.4 million over a five-year ordering period, along with a six-month option, and work is scheduled to commence in May.
The Navy received three offers for the contract and will initially obligate $50,000 in fiscal 2021 operation and maintenance funds on the award.
