For most of 2020, Kahn served as the sector vice president and general manager for Northrop Grumman. Kahn held the role from June 2018 until Sept. 2020. In the same month, he was announced as the president and CEO of Cobham Advanced Electronic Solutions in Sept. 2020.

More recently, the company unveiled a new logo and shortened its name to CAES in Feb. 2021 in order to demonstrate its transformation into an agile, customer-centric organization focused on meeting customer requirements in the aerospace and defense sectors.
