Army Taps Six Small Businesses for $300M Design-Bid-Build Contract

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has selected six small businesses operating in Hawaii to compete for design-bid-build construction orders under a potential seven-year, $300 million contract.

USACE received 11 bids for the firm-fixed-price contract via an online solicitation and expects work to be complete by March 16, 2028, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.

The agency will determine performance locations and funds upon the issuance of individual orders.

Awardees are:

  • Dawson Enterprises
  • Elite Pacific Construction
  • Insight Pacific
  • Nakasato Contracting
  • Niking
  • Rore Inc.

Separately, USACE awarded 14 spots on a three-year, $230 million firm-fixed-price contract in early March for design-build projects supporting Army Medical Command, with awardees including nine small businesses.
